LIZ KISLIK

HERJC President 2006-2009

 

Liz and her husband Harold joined HERJC 15 years ago, and she has been in one meeting or another ever since. She has served on our Board of Directors since 1997 and on our Executive Committee since 2000. She has chaired the Ritual Committee, the Nominating Committee, and with Harold, has co-chaired our annual JTS events, and a Dinner Dance. She doesn't leave the family at home, either. Harold is the current Ritual Chair, and son David is just finishing his second term as our USY Chapter Vice President for Religious Education. Both David and daughter Sophie attended our Nursery School, and almost every Shabbat you can find the whole bunch in the back row of the Sanctuary.

When she's not at HERJC, she's working as President of Liz Kislik Associates LLC, a consultancy that works with organizations of all sizes and segments to enhance customer satisfaction, employee success, and organizational resilience. She served for six years on the Board of Direct Marketing Association, where she is also deeply involved in their ethics and consumer affairs prorgrams. She is an active member of the Yale Alumni Schools Committee and interviews prospective freshmen and represents Yale at college fairs.
