It's a Mitzvah. . .

Warm Clothing Drive

This Sunday, November 2, 9 AM - 12:30 PM
and Monday, November 3, 3:30 - 6 PM

We are collecting warm outer clothing, gloves, hats, scarfs, mufflers, sweaters, etc. which we donate to help keep needy people warm this winter.  Please search your closets and drop off at HERJC on those dates.

Our Synagogue takes pride in our involvement in social welfare, educational, and environmental organizations in our community. Below are some of the "Mitzvah Projects" we ask you to help us support:

Toiletry Colletion

Please bring us any toiletries you might have at home that were saved from from a recent hotel visit. We will be donating them to a homeless shelter later in the year.

Used Batteries

Used batteries are poisoning our landfills!  Help save the earth by dropping off your used batteries in the synagogue office for proper recycling.

JEWS ARE HUNGRY HERE, TOO!

Please take one moment to think about those people right in our own area who have empty pantries and empty stomachs!

We are ALWAYS collecting kosher, non-perishable food items for the local  Kosher food pantry. Please leave your donations in the Lucite box in the front lobby.

A sincere THANK YOU for your continuing support
